Pasture-Raised means that our animal has spent as much of it's life
on pasture as South Dakota seasons allow.
Our chicks are kept in a brooder until the have feathers enough to keep them warm in South
Dakota weather. Depending on the time of year and the forecast, our chicks are usually moved
out to pasture around 3 weeks of age.
Pasture supplies the animals green salad, bugs, plenty of sunshine and fresh air, and
allows the animals to live out their individuality.
